Pastor Peter Cropsey
Pastor Pete Cropsey is a devoted spiritual leader and the heart and soul of First Love Church in Costa Mesa. With a deep passion for God and a genuine love for people, Pastor Pete has dedicated his life to guiding individuals towards a transformative relationship with Jesus Christ. Known for his dynamic and engaging preaching style, he has a remarkable ability to connect with congregants of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. His authentic and compassionate approach to ministry, coupled with his unwavering commitment to biblical teachings, has empowered countless individuals to discover their purpose, find healing, and experience the life-changing power of God's love. Pastor Pete Cropsey's leadership has helped First Love Church become a vibrant and thriving community where faith, hope, and love intersect to bring about lasting transformation.
Pastor Dawn Carter-Cropsey
Dawn Carter-Cropsey, serves as the women's pastor and possesses a Master's degree in Counseling/Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Human/Child Development. However, what sets her apart is her deep knowledge of the Bible and her spiritual connection with God. She has a remarkable ability to discern and intuitively understand spiritual matters. As a counselor, she prioritizes spiritual solutions. For over 30 years, Dawn has been committed to putting Christ at the forefront of everything she does. She devotes herself to serving the women and men of First Love Church with her whole heart. The Amplified Men and Magnified Women come together for worship every Tuesday evening at 7 pm and break out into separate sessions.
Pastor Anna Frisby
Pastor Anna was just visiting First Love Church on Mother’s Day in 2015. She went to watch her mom play violin with the worship team; little did she know this visit would change her life. God’s love was shining through everyone at First Love, in ways she hadn’t seen at other churches. So she decided to make First Love Church her home.
After being part of the congregation for a couple of years, the Lord impressed upon her heart the need to teach the kids of First Love Church the word of God. With lots of prayer she was able to create a Children’s Ministry which spans from nursery to 6th grade.
Pastor Anna has a strong conviction to teach kids the word of God and to equip them with God’s knowledge and wisdom. She is honored to be a part of so many kids' lives and truly wants to share with them about God’s love and supernatural plan for their lives.
Her life verse is Romans 8:38-39-
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Pastor Ben
Pastor Ben found First Love Church in 2014 when Pastor Pete Cropsey sought to help him in his recovery, as he has with thousands of men and women in this ministry. He started at First Love setting up chairs and making coffee for Sunday Morning services and eventually took over the duties of towing the church trailer and would oversee weekly setup for all worship services.
Today, he serves as Associate Pastor and is passionate about helping others find their Freedom in Jesus Christ. He and his wife Melia have been married since 2008 and live in Huntington Beach with their two children Jude and Pearl.
His life verse is Matthew 5:16
"Let your light so shine before men that when they see your good works, they will glorify your Father Who is in Heaven."
Pastor Dave Paulson
Pastor Dave the "AMPLIFIED MEN" Men's ministry leader at First Love Church.
A dynamic speaker with decades of ministry experience, Pastor Dave speaks the truth of God's word, and of the saving grace of Jesus Christ with boldness and conviction to the men of First Love Church. In so doing, a foundation is built in each man's life enough so to create leaders presentable to God for promotion.
Pastoer Dave is an accomplished musician and worship leader, and is, in addition to Pastoring the Amplified Men of First Love Church, a lawyer licensed to practice before all State and Federal Courts throughout California. He is the father of two amazing daughters, both of whom are highly accomplished and powerful women of God in their own right.
Born at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, Pastor Dave is a lifelong resident of Orange County. He is the founder of Rock N Socks, Life from Skid Row, a ministry to the homeless of Los Angeles. Through this organization, Pastor Dave, along with hundreds of coveted volunteers, have given out over 200,000 pair of brand-new socks to the homeless.
